If he does sign .... id love to see the moment big dunc walks into the dressing room and sees danns liverpool 'pride of merseyside' tattoo. Lol
(I dont know for a fact he has one , but most deluded wallys do)

I actually quite like it strangely, the only local lad even close to their first team these days is Flanaggon, we have loads and might have one of theirs as well, could be fun, where's your scoucers gone!
If he does sign for us and does really well it would sicken our neighbours after what they spent on Lovren last summer.

Alright, so we've just had three pages of people giving opinions of whether Dann would be a good signing (as usual not backed up with any evidence).

Some of us may be more interested in what's being rumoured and how credible this is.

So to sum up : yesterday the link was revived by the Star, and their headline was significant : "Everton could launch £8m bid". In other words, there's not been any formal approach so far.

Then 24 hours later on p134 there's a screenshot of a Twitter message saying a Dann deal is close. Hmm. Somehow I doubt whether things have moved on that much in the last 24 hours. And are Palace really going to cave in that easily and sell their captain who has two years left on his contract to the first crap offer they receive in mid-June ? Come off it. The interest in Dann may be genuine but I wouldn't get too excited yet.
Same article mentions Lombaerts. Decent player who would be nice to have as a backup. But 10m for him, no way.

If Dann rumours are true hopefully it isn't as a replacement for Stones. If interest is true could see the possibility Martinez plays 3 CB's. Could easily see us going (hope)

keeper
jags Stones Dann
Coleman Baines
cleverly McCarthy Besic
Barkley deulofeu
Rom

looks pretty decent that on paper, Barry, Naismith and Osman all add versatility and could easily slot in. Could do with another striker to add competition for Rom and a keeper, Mirallas and Deulofeu only played twice together when the spaniard was in loan so could see Mirallas being the player sold to fund all these moves.
Great side that. Only one small problem. We'd get too many fines for playing 12 bleedin players!!
