A 24 y/o striker. Hasn't got the best strike rate though. 19 goals in 124 games.

One of those third party ownerships, too? From Wikipedia:

I've never really understood that co-ownership nonsense apart from how annoying it is on FM. That aside, I know nothing about this guy other than the fact that we've been linked to him quite a bit in the past 6 months.

I don't do FM mate, or games or anything so I'm lost all round.

They are actualy a brilliant way for young players to get good game time at competative level, and the club getting financial recognition for doing the development work for the the so called parent club

assume the independent is more reliable??

Everton have made inquiries about Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton, with Tim Howard's future at Goodison Park now unclear.
Howard’s ex-wife’s return to the United States with the couple’s children has created the uncertainty about the 36-year-old’s intentions and the quality of Heaton’s performances in Burnley’s relegation season are thought to have impressed Everton manager Roberto Martinez.
Howard has always been clear about the significance of his family, taking a year away international football last August to spend more time with his children and it is unclear whether he will now look to a future beyond Merseyside. Heaton has two years left to run on his contract at Turf Moor.

That is interesting. I have to say Heaton's done well whenever I've watched him.

Yes totally amazed we didnt go for him.
RCB -- Stones / Jags
LCB -- Galloway / Gomez

The only reason i can think is that Martinez rates Galloway far higher than Gomez and wants to bring in Klaven or the Belgian (or another) for 3 seasons to allow Galloway time to come through and develop gradually.

With this being the transfer thread with rules attributed to it, i think only Dann,Klaven and the belgian at Zenit have been linked so far...would prefer someone like a Gomez but not even linked to us,sadly.

@Zatara will be gutted. Joe Gomez pretty much a Liverpool player.

Based purely on how he performed last season, Heaton looked quite good and I wouldn't say no to him... after all, we're not chasing Cech are we.

Keeper is a very important part of the team and although were not linked with anyone else i would suggest we should be looking at players in our core group age range of 19-26.

Additionally id say this type of signing should be a big money signing which as much as possible 'guarantees' us points like De Gea and beforehand Schmeical have done for UTD.

Yes please.

You would imagine if Howard went to the MLS then he'd be a designated player... one of the New York teams?

Gomez does look a good prospect but I've only ever seen him play at RCB or right back, we have Jags, Stones and Browning already for that side so as good as he potentially could be he's not what we need at the mo.
