I think the issue is, there aren't many goalscorers available, Wolves already sold Cunha and Strand Larsen scored a fair few last season. Purely on ability it's an amazing offer but I can understand why Wolves have turned it down.

Aren’t they after £60m? They only signed him a few weeks ago as well. Probably don’t want to have to find another striker with only a week left having already lost Cunha.

He is also 3 years younger than Wissa who Brentford were wanting more than £50m for so they will be looking at that and the fact in his first season he scored 14 in a relegation threatened team as him being more valuable.

I don’t get the negativity here, surely we have to trust Moyes who has coached him daily on the benefit he’ll bring. If Moyes wants him I support this.

You are right BUT only if its not because he would be a) cheap b) actually willing to join. Every team has their Soucek and they stay with those teams. We don’t need to be signing west ham (tatty) furniture.

Did you watch him v Chelsea Friday night ? It was embarrassing watching him chase the Chelsea midfielders all game, he’s done and can’t run anymore. He may get us a few goals but how many will he cost us

You can’t disagree with actual facts about his goals and appearances.

I wouldn’t sign him personally. I’m just saying why I think Moyes might want to. Hopefully we look elsewhere.

The argument against sounek is that he is nt a fashionable signing, but people scoffed when we were in For Tarks, Barry.
Sounek would be a plan b option, offering some height and agression at both ends of the pitch, unlikely to rock the boat and be good squad player over the season.
We need to bulk the squad.

Soucek would be our third highest earner in wages, more than double done current starters - but yeah he's tall and 'aggressive' - dies t win tackles and can't pass though, let's pay him his current 90k pw.

Oh if we bring him in he'd pretty much start every week - he's a Moyes pet and Moyes always likes his favourites.

Always wanted Gallagher. Think he’d be great in our team and a fan favourite straight away because he’s everywhere - like McCarthy the first year he was here (he was better than Barry that first year). Feel like he got an injury and wasn’t the same after it

He`s not very good mate and has had some very bad injuries.

The only links to him were very tenuous, thankfully.

Been a decent window so far & much stronger than we were last season. Really do need a right back & centre midfielder in to round it off.

Any semi decent attacking right back instantly changes this side & a defensive midfielder probably allows us to loan out Armstrong.

Probably abit too late now but depending on what was available I wouldn’t have been surprised to see McNeil move on & a experienced centre forward in to allow Chermiti to go out on loan.
