Wolves and Brighton have both made 8 signings.

Wolves have also sold 2 of their best players though, Brighton have lost a key player too. To balance that, Fulham haven’t bought anyone yet and Palace have spent £3m.

Tbh, my alarm is that there was a lot of talk about the problem RB berth being sorted early on. Now it's gone quite and the club are seemingly prepared to go with O'Brien with the now unreliable Coleman and the horrendous Patterson as his deputies.

We need both FB positions sorted with top class starters. If we'd have sorted those two positions out and a proven goal scorer I'd have been happy with three in right now.

Jakey and McNeil will start the season for us on the right. I've made peace with that. Top class starters will have options and hold all the cards. We'll have to wait for an answer or move on to secondary targets. Don't think we're in secondary time just yet, couple more weeks.

Either way, it's still unresolved...as are many other key positions.

I'm starting to get worried but at the same time trying not to panic.

We have seen for the last few years us just going for any old targets, that agents threw our way. Don't get me wrong I'm sure all of us are getting frustrated but surely it's right to wait for the moves which we know will benefit rather than over spending on target or getting another Klassen?
