Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Like who?
Well we finished 13th and I'd consider him a great squad option for any other club in the division and a starter for most teams outside of the 'Sky' clubs.

Spurs (Champions League, getting a new manager who will be backed) and United (already spending cash to fix their problems and will be plenty more where that came from) are still better than us despite us finishing higher - maybe Spurs would like a pop at him. Villa will spend, Chelsea might buy him just for the sake of it.

I do think Everton would be a great move for him though as he'd start most games and be at an improving club with big aspirations.

Lennon Miller. He's the player we need in the middle, its the connection on the ball he makes, the movement which is so fluid, despite not being rapid, the link up and creativity. He's a far better player than Lewis Ferguson was at an older age, when he moved to italy, who then went on to win seria a midfielder of the year at 24 last yesr, and won the italian Cup as club captain, at 25, for Bologna. Miller is better than him in every attribute.Almost guaranteed he'll go to Europe though.

Although, our manager is scottish and will have been told plenty. This kid is the real deal.
Certainly got a touch of quality about him that lad.
Celtic seems to be linked quite a bit for him..

I seem to remember we had his dad on trial when Moyes was last here

I think he's leaving City to become a first team starter somewhere...I believe we can offer him this.

YouTube vids of players as you know are not a great sauce. Imagine one of Dom. It’d show great hold up play and some great goals. What it won’t show is him missing a million sitters. You say ooo he looks good, get him in. But if you watch a vid and they can’t impress on that then you know it’s a wrong un. Barry is that vid 😂
I thought the same when I watched one of him the other day. I assume these highlight videos are sometimes arranged by the players' agents.

His name is circling with other clubs but like the look of Guessand. Bit of all rounder and nice to watch play.

At the same time can see Barry is more get on the end of crosses in both boxes.
Reminds me of Rom the way he runs with the ball. Barry’s finishing seems anything but polished. Seems to miss-hit nearly every shot. Guessand seems to have much more footballing ability. Linked particularly with Wolves at the mo.

Moyes has already played McNeil right wing a few times, he might do that with Grealish on the left and move Ndiaye centrally.

Ultimately, we need options so there’s no point crying about where Jack Grealish could potentially play.
McNeill shouldn’t be a starter, and I would prefer him in a left wing back role too

Interchanging Grealish, N’diaye and McAtee with Charley as back up would be fantastic!

Loan only at the moment for Jack , with City paying two thirds of his wage which is a saving on Doucoure!

That West Ham page is signing all their unwanted players.

Wouldn't believe a thing from it.
Yeah I’m hoping that the club won’t be thinking that signing a bunch of 30 somethings from West Ham is a viable strategy to progress. It’s good to have a couple of experienced players in the squad but we need to add pace and quality if we want to challenge top half.
