We don’t need to add more one paced players, we need to improve the cumulative pace of the team to press, counter, recover opposition counters, and ultimately dominate games.

Just look at Wharton & Rigg and you've got a couple of English versions of the PSG boys.

It just depends whether he's ready and good enough yet basically. Personally I would have a new central midfielder pretty high up on my list anyway, but that just becomes even more the case if Iroegbunam and Armstrong aren't seen as being good enough yet.

In terms of what a player learns from a loan then yes, where you are in the league isn't a particularly important factor. There's nothing to say a team at the top plays more 'fluid football' at all really, and there's obviously a big middle ground between pushing for promotion and scrapping for relegation. Armstrong had a good loan at Derby, there's nothing really to support the notion that a loan at Sheffield United would have been more beneficial.
