Best we can offer him is the fact that we haven’t had a proper right winger for years, so he is guaranteed legend status and to play whenever he is fit. £22m sounds a great deal to me.
Whilst I’m here, I’ve watched some utterly awful YouTube highlight reels over recent weeks. No idea how this chap would fit in with us, or the PL, but looks like the greatest ever footballer based on this. A fantastic number of clips rather than a couple of goals and 5 minutes of winning free kicks. This lamp post up top with Illy and Charly swarming round him and Doak tuning left backs inside out
I have just watched the Woltemade clip and my first impression from the clip was that he is not an out-and-out number nine like you would expect us to sign. Having said that, I would be happy to sign him if the price is right as he could certainly add something to our attack.
On a side note, I rarely bring myself to view YouTube highlight reels. In fact, I think that this was the first I have viewed in this window. Normally, they don't give a full reflection of a player's attributes, as well as their weaknesses, often only highlighting their strengths. I remember watching a video of this Dutch winger who was playing for Feyenoord around a decade ago when we were linked with him and it left me thinking that he was going to be the next big thing. Lo and behold, I am typing this post all these years later and I can't even remember his name. Make of that what you will.
Nah sorry but ‘lighten up’ isnt it. He’s held his hands up and there doesn’t have to be a pile on but you can’t have a go at people for being offended. Play on words about a name is one thing but referencing the actual holocaust in a joke is a bit close to the bone even for me.
Anyway, I hope we sign some good players.
