Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Garnacho is just a hood rat that is gifted at the game, albeit at an inconsistent level. Not the character we need around the place, not the risk we need to take.
You make him sound like a young Richarlison.

He would be fine once “touched” by the Grand Old Lady, but then I suppose that will now be the problem.

Perhaps we could find another Old Lady to touch him and settle him down. Are there any volunteers? Or shall we just pick one at random from Wayne’s address book?

I'd like us to get hidden gems from lower leagues & abroad plus promoting the likes of Harrison Armstrong from the academy.
David Moyes dad was a great scout for us last time, I know he won't be able to this time round though due to his age.
The dream but it just doesn’t happen much anymore, it’s a data saturated market and any player at any level who might be able to step up will be known about. The Premier league is now the absolute pinnacle of athleticism in world football. Brilliant players come to this league and end up looking like they would struggle on Hackney marshes on a Sunday.
The club needs to take a few risks on either damaged goods or unpolished diamonds, having players like Armstrong is a massive bonus though!

I think we've had enough "touched by the old lady" judging by a few of the posts on here

Yes, on reflection think you're right.

A Coventry supporting buddy always felt Hamer had a higher ceiling than Gyokores when they were both there

They could well be right.

Not an expert but Hamer has always stood out to me whenever I saw him at Coventry and Sheff Utd. Great vision and passing.

I think he got 6 assists and 4 goals for Sheff Utd in the Premier League which is impressive considering how bad they were as a team.

From his season in the premier league

Emotionally unstable, slightly eccentric, and success starved team seeks Damaged Goods & Unpolished Diamonds

If your past is complicated, your laugh is too loud, or you’ve been told you’re “a bit much” — call us immediately.

Bonus points for:

• unresolved but self-unaware trauma

This is a genuine search for companionship,, and maybe, when we’re both ready, something more — .

Must enjoy eye contact, emotional honesty, and trying again.
