Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Decent player whose performances are declining in quality .
Sadly we have made a habit of purchasing players of this calibre since the Smith era , during which time we have achieved the sum total of nothing .
Only thing with him he'll probably still command a decent wedge, so to paying him decent money to sit on bench isnt what we want.

All this bring said, Moyes might not even want him. He's been saying he wants to bring the average age down,so this flies in the face of what he's saying.

At the moment I think the links are spurious and based on lazy assumptions, rather than any facts.
( That is also my hope )

I’ve said this before too

I’d throw N’Diaye and Alcaraz into that group too as they developing and having their first prem seasons and I think both will improve

But the rest could leave tomorrow and I would bat an eyelid
Tarkowski needs a new contract asap can't believe we haven't done that..you need a leader like him and a player who doesnt shrink a challenge.

I would give him one too given our situation of having so many out of contract and so many that need moving on before him.

These last few games are the first minutes he’s missed in his time here . He’s super reliable and has helped massively bedding in JB

Rudoni at Coventry feels a Moyes type pick up to me.

High energy and has goals in him from midfield.
I have a soft spot for Cov as I go and watch them occasionally with a mate. But hope they don’t come up for this reason. Would be a fantastic signing for a newly promoted club, but given they will all just go down again, he should aim a little higher, even if it takes 6 months to break into a side.
