I would love to have Richy back.

His value should be a lot lower now given his form at Spurs and injury records. He has two years contract left. Maybe a loan with option to buy. I’m sure Richy would love to play for us again.

Other players I wouldn't call explosively fast so guess you wouldn't take someone like them (age withstanding): Christian Eriksen, Bernardo Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, Bruno Fernandes. 25-year old Kevin de Bruyne? Nah, too slow, wouldn't improve us.

Eriksen is a good shout but was effective because he played with players like Walker and Rose bombing on the wings or even Lennon or Dele who used to make great runs

Anyway - yes players who aren’t fast can be great, world class - I’d have used Kane as a good example
But the point is you need balance and we have zero pace anywhere so we need some!

Would be a PR "we're here and we get you" feel good signing.

With PSR we cannot afford to buy players who will have no resale value, and especially players whose output will diminish year on year. That strategy is what has gotten us in to the mess we have been in. People have a full time job to identify players for Everton to sign, if Richarlison's name is on a list handed in then you'd have to question what they've been doing with their time.

He’s scored 12 as a young lad in an awful team. That’s pretty impressive to me and definitely worth a go for the right deal

100%. The idea that it would be some sort of universally lauded move to show the fans they mean business is just madness. If the first 2 footballing moves they make after coming in are to bring back Moyes and Richarlison it will be straight out of the Kenwright playbook.
