Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

This is the key for me, if they spend £30 on Mr Anonymous, then it doesn’t matter who else we sign. Been crying out for an actual striker for years and they buy a guy who hasn’t scored in…I actually can’t remember the last time he scored…ever

Imagine if Moyes uses Broja & / or Keane next week.

What is the conclusion?

Broja may not be able to play against Chelsea, so I’ll apply it to the game after. In that case, Id be furious. He’s said he wants to look at fringe players to asses the squad. Fine. You’ve had 2 anonymous performances and a lad on the bench who must be wondering what has to happen to get a start. I’ll be livid if Broja starts another game for us. In terms of Keane, if he starts, then it proves that everything I thought Moyes had ‘outgrown’ is something that I misjudged. He’s still the caution-first manager he was the first time around. Knife to a gun fight.

Interested see what he does for cb this window just cant see him offering keane a new deal. And well is clear we need better if its a lcb who can play at fb like obrien, just do feel we need a fast option at cb

Today he may have wanted to look at Keane to see if he deserves a new contract. Broja because there may be options on the table that we don't know about. Moyes would be right to take a look at all his options to be prepared for next season.
I don't think Keanes getting a new contract which will mean we have to spend on another center half

….you’ll be very annoyed and maybe;

Pace and cutting edge our scouting department needs to factor in these two things with evèry forward player we look at, we are way too slow in the final third with a few exceptions. Physicality and pace is key these days
