Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

My thoughts aswell, he flags around 70th minute mark so his fitness isn't there for 90 minutes at prem level if there's a game every 3-4 days. Was taken off at 1-1 yesteday.

However he's hit double figures, hold up play in poor team is really good and mobile so could do much worse signing replacement for DCL which is what he would be.

He's been linked with plenty in top half so have to see how things pan out. Would he choose this club over Brighton or even West Ham for example?

He's carrying that whole team on his shoulders so i suspect playing with superior players would leave him a lot more energy in the tank.

I would probably retain Begovic, cos why even waste time and energy on 3rd choice GK, we have a few young lads we could try at a pinch.
LB needs to be a Starter
RB needs to be a Starter
Depending on who we sign, Armstrong should probably go on loan again
And Beto cant be our Starting Striker, no matter what

Good basis for a reset, I`d expect Virgina and Gueye to sign new deals and Alcaraz could well be signed yet.... If it was me I`d keep Tyrer as the 3rd keeper behind Pickford and Virginia who has stated he would be happy to stay.

FWIW we signed 8 players this season with no money whatsoever... O`Brien, NDaiye, Iroegbunam, Lindstrom, Begovic, Broja, Mangala & Alcaraz, so it isn`t out of the question.

If we had a top up and coming u21 keeper then we can have them as 3rd choice + youre allowed emergency keeper loans as well.

Ive not listed the players in order of starters, just who we have and then a space if only 1 player. You may think certain positions need starters but i think u21s who can increase competition could be just as effective.
