Summer transfer window 2023

In terms of Gray, the Saudi transfer window closes after the European one right? Can’t see it happening in the next two days.

In fact, as per usual, I don’t think anywhere near as much as is rumoured will actually happen.

Going 1 more in and maybe 2/3 out.

1 in at the most, yes. We can all see how short we are at CB but Michael Keane has something on Dyche so he's never going to drop him. Knowing everton, well sign another LW, when RW is the position we've cried out for for years. Cannon, Iwobi will go and Gray will go after the window ends

Tend to agree

What we know is that Thelwell can't do any incoming deals without players leaving. We can't force other teams to buy our players.

So we'd need everything to fall in our favour to get the 3 players or whatever it is they want - Gbamin, Gomes, Iwobi, Gray, Maupay, Cannon - can anyone really see us shifting them all out?

Without any sales minimum we still have to use a loan slot. Madness not to with so many gaps to fill.

If we can get 20m between Cannon and Iwobi that would be ok, anything more is a bonus really. Needs to happen today though. That might give us the money for 2 in but time may dictate only one.

Gray 🤷🏼‍♂️

Think 1 loan 1 buy is the most likely scenario but depending on sales could be 0-2 buys in the time we have. Really got to make the loan count though. Reguilon looks like the one who would most raise the team but seen worryingly few LB links.

Gbamin and Gomes will definitely go, wouldn’t be surprised if contracts were terminated if they can’t get rid.
Cannon will also be gone.

Ideal for us that is, hopefully Maupay, Gomes & Gbamin can find a Saudi Club too and we can just pocket the money

You can't just terminate a contract. The player needs to agree and why would they do that? It's them giving up millions.
Technically you can, but you'd need to pay the remaining cost of the contract as a lump sum. No benefit to doing that over keeping them unless they're being disruptive.
