True. I'm assuming it's just to maximise his value after all they aren't really under pressure to sell. That said, about half the teams in the Premier League and certainly all teams below that are certainly not in a position to stick a £20m asset in the reserves all season. Hopefully he's burned his bridges with them and will arrive here shortly.

I think Leeds are just hoping for a bidding war for him, seen links with Juventus and Napoli this morning. Rather us just get Sulemana on loan and push for Entike and a CB.

There was a rumour around the time Kendal was in charge, that they went on a team bonding session in a Chinese restaurant in Southport (it may have been Formby) and Keown hit Sheedy after a frank exchange of views, where as rumour would have it, Sheedy called him crap.
