Who would you be looking at for LB, ACM, CF and RW ?
No idea tbh, I like that Wahi like I said for a CF role, if you want a cheap option for RW then there is a geezer who plays for Silkeborg in Denmark, Sebastien Jorgensen, 22 years old, can play up top, defo going places him and wouldn't cost loads. LB is a hard one tbh I can't think of many that would come here or we could afford. ACM the same I can't think of many that would come. It will come down to budgets and who we can clear out, if we can generate some extra cash it will make things easier.

If we stay up or not the clubs approach has to be the same as most the clubs around us currently. We need value propositions and appreciating assets, and to invest lower sums over multiple positions even if that means rawer talents. How Dyche feels about that priority given his recruitment history is personally a major concern. Add a board and owner terrified of the drop due to their own mismanagement, that as well aligns with them justifying hasty business thats purely presently dependent. Alas if they don't address the core problems with that approach the inevitable looms.

I look at the revitalized Burnley coming up, Southampton going down, Bournemouth's recent business along with others and see longterm danger. They may not hit on all of their signings, and in some cases dealt with relegation, but they have growing prospects with legitimate upside both on the pitch and financially that will roll over in future windows. I cant say the same for us at present. All that makes me very pessimistic entering this summer transfer wise.

Out of contract in the summer, a Mexico International and at the ideal age of 24 so has been given opportunity to grow instead of using us to grow
Transfermarkt says they have a club option to extend 2 seasons: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/gerardo-arteaga/profil/spieler/469718

Interesting pick though. Surely on a free a better bet would be Grimaldo from Benfica or Guerreiro from Dortmund?

Failing that, quite a touch time to be looking at left backs.

Really need to move out a number of players both out of contract and also those who arent good enough that can generate fees.

If those fees equate to one top player and we have enough for another that would be ideal.

Linked to 22 year old striker Raul Garcia from Real Betis, he has spent this season on loan at CD Miranda in the Spanish 2nd division where he has scored 19 goals. believed to be available for around £9m. He looks like he scores a fair few of his goals from crosses into the box and is capable of setting up goals as well. The defending looks quite loose in the Spanish 2nd division, but he finishes well, youtube highlights clip below and link to the story.

Ive seen a few saying we need a new CM but do we actually need one given weve got
Doucs
Onana
Gana
Garner
Iwobi
we already have 5 (assuming we extend doucs) so i dont think we actually need another midfielder. If we get rid of Doucs though I would love to get Le Fee from Lorient.
IMO we need a new RW, ST and LB and possibly a new CB if funds are available.
RW: Sarr (Watford), Doku (Rennais), Bakayoko (PSV). Dream is Chukwueze but apparently Villa want him and theyre a far more attractive project with Emery so i doubt we get him
ST: Balogun (Arsenal, approx 25 million), Wahi (even though hes a nonce), Kalimuendo (Rennais), Gyokeres (Coventry). Want Openda but hes probably going to a club playing in Europe.
LB: Truffert or Parisi
CB: Kalulu (AC milan), Facundo Medina (Lens), Hincapie (Bayer Lev). I would love to keep Mina but only viable if he takes a pay cut.
CM (not urgent): Le Fee, Caqueret (OL), Fofana (Monaco), Alex Scott (Bristol)

Right now I think our strongest position is the midfield, and we have some spots covered fairly well. But I think the most glaring holes we need to fill are a winger, a CF, and the 2nd CB spot next to Tarkowski. If Branthwaite can fill that, great. Otherwise we need to bring someone in who can do what Tarks has done, and all of the sudden our defense looks much better. Patterson I hope develops, but I do think we need one more LB/RB as thats the next weakness.

We are quite well stocked with workhorse type CMs but other than Garner who is still learning not much genuine creativity. Attackers are probably the priority with whatever budget we have but if Onana is in demand I would be tempted to cash in in favour of a more creative player like some of those you mention to spearhead the midfield three.
