He wouldn’t start for any prem team next season, well not in august anyway, maybe a few months down the line he’d break through. This thing that a few top 6 teams want him, well he can look forward to 2 yrs on loan at their feeder clubs

I'm happy with that. We need quality not quanity. We need to rid ourselves of more of the absolute crap in the squad. (it's dumbfoundung the complete rubbish we bought over the last number of years) . To bring in anyone, it should mean they are bought to go into the starting 11 replacing someone to the bench and ridding the others out of the squad. the exception to this is an experiened 2nd choice keeper who can fill in for pickford when necessary.

agreed. he will work on fitness and try to phase players out who aren't available week in week out. we saw that when he first came in with the bleep test. He doesn't make many Subs and hardly changes his starting 11. Think we will get a back up keeper, forward and a LB then that will be it...
