Weighorst got 2 in 20 for Burnley and 0 in 17 for utd, we can’t waste more money on a forward who doesn’t scoreA few thoughts crossed my mind mate, a utility - he can play, 9, 10 or right wing forward mate. That forgives a lot of sins for us.
Accordung to a couple of Leeds lads I spoke to he has high work rate so that fits with the overall pressing collective I think we’l see.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Weighorst as well in all honesty, his big strength is what he enables from other around him, so if you have Weighorts you need attacking players coming from behind and at wing forward.
Not saying any of the above will come to pass, but it’s how I processed it myself.

No not really. As 3rd choice maybe, but we couldn’t be left with just him to start 15 games if DCL is out. Maybe for the last 15 mins if we’re chasing a game
The argument for Weighorst, and I wouldnt sign him, but at least stylistically he is similar to DCL so you can play a similar way.
