Summer transfer window 2023

I liked it when there was no 'Transfer Window' you could sign someone whenever you wanted!

Your CB does his cruciate in December, lets go and find a replacement.
Was ok then cos we were good. Our best players would walk now in March ‘ April and we’re goosed!

…...I think that situation was explained by Brands;

Benitez wanted Rondon but Brands refused only to be told by Moshiri, ‘think of it as a present for Benitez’.

Benitez then refused to even pick up the phone to Brands.
That’s why I’m not so hard on Thelwell. Could he could better? Probably. Is it ALL on him to the point he should resign being the third DoF? I don’t think so when you have this bellend in charge.

There's enough actual problems without making problems up. We sold a winger in January and have another winger on his way out the door. We signed Harrison because we need to sign two wingers regardless. I'm sure signing Harrison on loan would've been the plan all summer, with the timing dictated by the injury.

and leaving it as late as possible to save on wages too perhaps?
