Leaves Doucoure, Garner, Iwobi, Chermiti, Gomes, Dobbins, Alli, Coleman, Mykolenko, Keane, Godfrey and Virginia for the bench (assuming Holgate, Gbamin, Gray, Cannon and Maupay are gone)

Looking at that one more winger (Gnoto/Sulemana) and one more striker (Beto/Daka) would make sense.

Were all that to happen we would be in much better shape than last season. Mortgaging a bit for the future though…. Next season would need to either make some loans permanent or replace those players and will still need to address both fullback spots as well as depth at center mid and center half

The only silver lining is we didn’t spend a huge amount of money on Gallagher. Another CM that no-one has quite worked out should be more attacking or defensive or a bit of both. Currently doing neither.

As I said Daka very much the target:

Young, Danjuma, Chermiti, Harrison, Daka, Gnonto and hopefully a depth CB. That'd be a great window for us I'd say.

Don't think Daka would be too expensive either you'd have to imagine, maybe a loan, that'd make sense with how we've done so far.

If he sneaks out of the medical centre through the bog window, we should be leaking that he failed the medical just to muddy the waters for Villa.
