I know this sounds crazy. It was revealed recently that Tyler Adams from Leeds had a 20 Million release clause. It seemed like Chelsea were going to sign him, but Fabrizio Romano said that the deal is off, beacause Chelsea want to bid again for Caicedo. What if we signed him. Surely not out priority to sign a midfielder know, but we could potentially sell him next season for 35-40 Million. If we sell Keane and Holgate, I believe we could afford him

But who on earth is going to buy Keane or Holgate? Holgate will go out on loan at the end of the window and Keane will be here until the end of his contract in 2025.

We have plenty of midfielders who cant score and cant create, I dont see why we need another 1, atm.

If we get midfielders in, then they really need to do more than run around a bit.

I guess hypothetically it could be future planning for next season when we are likely to lose Gana and Doucoure and potentially Onana, but not for a club in our position. Adams is a bit like Gana but honestly I think Gana is better and I’d prefer we replace him with someone less one dimensional anyway.
