If we sign Hugo, Chermo and Gnoto for 75m, it really makes a mockery of the "limited funds" crowd.

I feel like if they had that much money to spend they would have already completed at least one transfer before now. Though among the Premier League teams, they seem to be the slowest at actually finishing a move.

Has he been a decent source in the past: 100% Yes

Do I think he's an attention seeking bell: Yes

Why: Because he hasn't been privy to any inside knowledge for many years

Dyche doesn't give anything away in interviews. I wouldn't read anything into his comments, either positive or negative.

Unless it is done, he won't speak about it, so Chermiti is clearly now signed.

A: Land an easy target early on.

B: Hold out until late in the window trying to make a quality signing.

Not sure how you got that from my post.... Everton will identify Maupay MkII to much criticism from fans, say this is Che Adams for example, BK will `leak` that we are trying to sign Gnonto, Ekitike, Beto, Dia, Sulemane and who ever else is on this make believe list then we will end up with Maupay MkII anyway on deadline day.

So to answer your question, would I rather have the Maupay MkII deals done early or wait for quality. I think the answer is obvious but Everton have and always will identify Maupay MkII try for more glamerous targets they know they won`t get, don`t actually want or can`t afford and sign Maupay MkII at the 11th hour...

BK has been leaking these type of stories to have the fans on-side but we never actually get them, think back in the last 30 years you could probably recount at least 60 targets that were supposed to be coming to Everton which never did, and probably never were.

He looked more like "how the fck did that get out"
