When Maupay was at Brentford I really wanted Villa to sign him, he was excellent in the Championship, I was disappointed when we ended up with Watkins and Brighton got Maupay. I watched him a lot in the Championship and yes I know it is a lower level but he was one of the best players in the Championship and looked like he would have a really bright future. There is a much better player there than what u are seeing, hopefully Dyche can get him back to his best
I agree with you on a lot but not Neil Maupay.
He's slow, he can't hold up a football, his finishing is horrific, he is short in height for a professional footballer and his performances have been so bad (1 goal in 29 competitive appearances) that it will be a struggle for Everton to unload him.
His link up play with players around him is ok but I would expect any semi competent amateur footballer to possess the same.
I knew he would be utter gash when he was signed yet he has somehow been even worse than I had feared.
