Summer transfer window 2023

Maupay was a 1 in 3 striker at Brighton and a 1 in 10 striker here. Do you think he just completely forgot whatever football he knew before? I’m not saying he’s Lewandowski but we made him look terrible beyond what he is.
But we don't have the players to implement the style of football he thrives at, so he was a poor acquisition

Myko - 20 mil
Onana - 35 mil
Patterson - 16 mil
Maupay - 15 mil
McNeil - 20 mil
Garner - 15 mil

That’s just some of the signings over the past 2 seasons, god knows how much dele will end up costing

It doesn’t scream to me we are in a financial mess and can’t afford to buy anyone especially when in the same 2 seasons we have made significant money from the sales of Digne, Richarlison, Gordon and Kean

We got 39 mil this season, 100 mil last season and 46 mil the season before. Sales totalling around 185 mil with purchases totalling around 120 mil so there is gap of around 65 mil there.

That’s clearly the Gordon and moise keane money that hasn’t been spent yet

So the notion that we have no money is false

What is probably true though is that we do have money but the club just doesn’t want to spend it
Think you’ve added on a bit more or rounded them up.

According to the transfermarket.com
Myko 19
Onana 30
Patterson 12
Maupay 9
McNeil 14
Garner 9.

These are probably more closer to the transfer fee before add ons

14 and 20 mil is a 6 mil difference

What does transfermarkt know that the bbc don’t!

What's sickening is the fans helped keep this club up two years running yet there's zero communication about the future or direction or plans, Thelwell talked to the FAB weeks ago but the club hasn't released the interview. They think sticking their heads in the sand and staying silent is the strategy, or worse still putting put puff pieces on Michael Keane and Maupay is enough, it's an insult to the fanbase and not how a modern club operates, it also increases the anger.
It is maddening because they intend to operate in the same flawed Manner and somehow have different results , I think the deluded rational is that if we have a better showing on the pitch will make the fans forget the years of ineptitude and they can resume the stays quo but we will never find success if Everton don't change their approach, so clueless and obstinate from kenwright and moshiri

No communication from them clowns is a good thing. They only lie to us and embarrass themselves. Actions not words.

We have some, honest we do, we just have yet to have a coach who can move us that direction.
But maupay has never played as an all out striker he was very fermino like where he needed versatile wingers who could also provide chances which we don't have. Even with a more progressive and inventive manager such as da zerbi, the poor recruitment would of hindered us.

Maybe not at the level of Salah and Mane but maybe the manager could have had them try a bit more
