Two things,
1. With a hearing on finances coming up in October I believe the club is self regulating so it can be used as part of our defence "look we have gotten ourselves into a point of compliance no need to punish us now"
2. A lot of money is going into the new stadium. We may juts not have enough money to be throwing about on transfers.
you aren't wrong but here's the issue.
1. We shouldn't be worrying about the hearing. Whatever happens happens and they will punish us regardless of whether we are self regulating. We need as strong a squad as possible now so if they do give us a transfer ban or god forbit a points deduction we s have the quality to get by. Us going with what we have just to beat a charge is as good as punishing ourselves anyway because this current squad will get relegated.
2. A lot of money is going into the new stadium. Cash flow is an issue but we've been told over and over again that MSP are set to invest at some point very soon so again you need to take the risk and improve the squad otherwise we will have the greatest stadium in the Championship
The biggest issue we have is we are not run like a modern football club. We have a man knocking 80 negotiating deals because he enjoys it. We have an absent owner who appears to be so detached from reality it's a minor miracle we've last this long. Until someone comes in and starts running this club like a modern day business and not a community centre we'll never progress.
