Young, hungry, and affordable.
There is very little downside to these deals as long as they don’t completely flop.

Lookman , Vlasic and even that Nigerian Henry all were similar deals and we didn’t lose money on any of them

If one makes it like Coleman has then great we even made money on nkouno or however you spell his name and he could have made more if we didn’t have an obligation to buy inserted.

Also holgate , stones , DCL all would or have gone for more than we have paid

can see Che Adams signing too. We appear to be working on last years target list with names like Danjumma and Elanga linked heavily.

Yeah defo agree on him picking the right club. I think Brighton would be a good move for him due to style of play. but wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up at
West Ham with the Rice money coming in.

Aye but that's one of the things you have to accept when buying young players from big teams.

On the flipside, if they activate it, it means he'd have done well enough for them to want him back and at least not stunk the gaff out like most our signings

Yeah, he's looked the business every time I've seen him but I don't think we are in a position where we can shell out that sort of money for a lad who's never played higher than the Championship.

It's why Wharton at Blackburn would be the more sensible target as you'd get him for about half that fee.
