Dybala lukaku swap deal possible on sky...do we get the 5 millions we are suppose to receive or not if there is no exchange of money between the 2 clubs

The one right back I'd love us to get would be Joakim Mæhle. Bags of potential that lad. Not sold on Arias tbh.
I'm just going on him apparently being surplus at Atletico and previously being at PSV. Never seen him play tbh other than a longish youtube video in which he looked quite impressive (yes I know!!). In fairness the video showed very little of him defending, but he liked to get forward on the overlap and his delivery into the box was excellent, especially compared to what we're used to from Seamus.

Not sure about his age though. I would be looking for somebody younger to take over from Coleman long term. I couldn't find much on this Maehle lad. What makes you rate him so highly?

I just wonder..

If we sign this Gbamin for under £30 million and loaned in a central defender (Tomori maybe), then that really isn’t a huge net spend at all.
If we could then ship out some of Tosun, Niasse, McCarthy, Besic, Bolasie and maybe Morgan, then we might be able to go in with a big blammo Zaha bid on deadline day. Have Welbeck as a back up..

If Zaha happens they'll push it to deadline day - that way Palace dont have to spend the money / Zaha misses the game against them whilst we negotiate a fee.

I still think we'll end up with Neres.
Finnfann reckons he is in the bag but if he was we wouldn’t be still looking at wingers. I thinks he’s just on the wind up. I know Ajax said he was staying but then received a bid from an unnamed club but it never came out who it was. It seems to have all gone quiet on that front.

Watched him quite frequently at Racing Genk. Think he has the potential to be one of the top right backs in the world. Defensively very strong, lots of stamina, quite fast, good at dribbling and more than decent crosser.

Good luck finding that player mate :(
Like for like? We definitely won’t find that.

But finding someone who in replacing Gana improves our midfield isn’t impossible. Someone who’s maybe a LITTLE weaker defensively but offers a threat going the other way too... Not easy, but not impossible
