Talk down here from some Chelsea fans is that Zouma is going to be part of their first team next year. I hope not, I'm not sure what the backup options are.

I was surprised Sarri sent him out on loan tbh, he's quite like Koulibaly whom he had at Napoli. He's probably not as good on the ball as him which is why he didn't fancy him maybe.

Zouma was part of the worst defence in the league with Stoke last season. It wasn't entirely obvious that he would be a success at Everton this time last year, let alone ready to start for Chelsea. He definitely looks good enough right now though.

Hed been very promising for Chelsea before getting a bad knee injury before that as well.

Ok mate, they've only won something like 12 games in a row and only lost once all season.

Going off the team sheets I’d say the players in focus would be Ndombele, Soumare, Aoure, Maia and Celik. possibly Leao if he gets a run.

Also id like to add I have absolutely no idea about these players I’m just using the listed midfielders and RB for Lille

Marcel Brands says he does not focus on attracting David Neres or Hirving Lozano. Everton has been explicitly linked in recent weeks to the tastemakers of Ajax and PSV respectively, but according to the technical director none of that is true.


"It is always like this during this period," Brands responds to the NOS. "Then I read David Neres, Hirving Lozano, you name it. But we have no contact with any of these players."

Brands brought Lozano to Eindhoven as PSV director. He made the agreement at the time that the Mexican could look further after two seasons and that moment has arrived this summer.
