It'll be a bit of both I imagine.

There's no more players who are concrete part of the first team that are gonna go, now (since Gueye has left).

There's still plenty of time to sell players to Europe as most windows don't shut until Aug 31.

So I reckon while we'll be trying to get as many moves lined up as possible, the main focus has to be incomings.

I really can foresee a bid for Zouma going in over the weekend - even if it only gets reported Monday/Tuesday. I reckon it's fine if that goes to the wire, as long as we have an alternative lined up.

A winger has to be a target and again I could see something happening with Zaha (another bid) though that's probably more in hope than confidence. Issue is, with Kean coming as our striker, we need a wide man who can get us goals and has a good record in that regard, so it's gonna be big money.

RB will be the one that goes to dd I imagine and if it doesn't get done it's not the end of the world as long as the others are in place.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Chelsea are deciding if we can have Zouma, or Tomori on loan. Seems to have gone quiet on other targets. We need a wide player, I just don’t see us spending that kind of money on Zaha, fingers crossed they have something else lined up.

Palace have Benteke and Whickham - I really don’t think Tosun is the type of forward they would be after, I think they would want more mobility.
Equally, they don’t really need a McCarthy type either.

They have the wan bissaka money as well, they wont be spending anywhere near 50m on a replacement for any player so dont need the zaha money in to get a replacement. They need squad depth and that is possible with only a couple of days

Not 100% on this but pre the AWB sale weren’t Palace something like £150m in debt with about 77% of there income going on wages?

Exciting to be linked to good players but you do wish we had got some of them in earlier, will take till September for most to get fit and integrated into the squad so we are playing a weakened team in the early weeks waiting for the new blokes to bed in.

FFP and how much of a gamble we are taking!

Doing the maths, it looks like we are showing a good net spend, even after you include the outlay for (fingers crossed) Kean and Gbamin. However, we all know we need at least a CB and RB. If we spend another let's say £60m/£70m on those 2 players, we are looking close to a £100m net spend which...
