....shifted some rum last night watching that amazing cricket World Cup Final. Regardless, i’m here bright and early to bring you the morning Toffee transfer rumour round-up for Monday 15th July;

- According to Tuttosport, Everton may be about to offer €45m for Juventus striker Moise Kean, as Marcel Brands wants to get around including a buy-back clause for the 19 year old Italian wonderkid.

- Brazilian Journalist Jorge Nicola continues to provide updates on Malcom’s transfer situation. He claims Everton have made a €35m move to sign the unsettled Barcelona star and that the 22 year olds agent is in England negotiating with 2 clubs.

- Manchester Evening News report Everton and Manchester City have agreed an £8.5m deal for midfielder, Fabian Delph.

- Dutch Eredevisie team, Emmen, have confirmed the signing of Everton’s Swiss 24 year old forward, Shani Tarashaj, on a two season loan.

- German outlet Bild say Everton scout, Nassim Bannouas, watched 3 Hertha Berlin players at the weekend; Left Back Martin Plattenhardt; defender Karim Rekik; and 24 year old striker, Davie Selke.

- The Daily Mail continues to say Everton defender Antonee Robinson is set to join Wigan Athletic and winger Josh Bowler is off to Hull City on loan. Ademola Lookman to RB Leipzig links also continue.

- Journalist Alan Nixon claims Brentford will be in for £10m windfall if defender James Tarkowski leaves Burnley for £40m this summer. Everton are one of the clubs to have been linked.
I'd prefer if we didn't do anymore deals for Burnley defenders. Keane has worked out, but that system of defending 15 yards from your goal at all times makes their defenders look better than they are. And 40m is outrageous.

£40m for Tarkowski ?

Steve Walsh isn't in another job yet is he ?

....it’s likely to be an old regurgitated link, but as you say it’s very unlikely anybody would pay £40m for him.

Thank you.
Not a beep about welbeck either which brings a bit of warmth

Fabian Delph is no better than McCarthy, Schneiderlin, Besic or Davies... If Gueye goes our midfield will be significantly weaker with Fabian Delph. Miles away from the transfer strategy we were told was in place. Actually really disappointed by this and feel like we`ve been lied to once again, are we really still skint we have to go for this yard dog!
You do know that at least 12 lads have put this post in their private vaults and it will be revisited on Aug 8th

Who said he was a Guyue replacement
At the moment he probably isn't, until PSG miss out on their top target and inevitably come back in for Gueye who will be allowed to join them this time around. It'll be late in the window and we'll have no time to get a real replacement in, thus Delph will become this replacement.

Thank you.

Bookies gave him odds on to join the toffees.

As much as I and other people don’t like it... he has obviously been lined up for a move just in case we fail to land other targets.

Let’s see what happens.

What's your rum of choice Eggs? If you're regularly in Landan there's a Rum bar at Bedford Place called Burlock. It's awesome. Google it.

It seems some people have forgotten we cant solve everything on this team this window. When that is the case, for positions you are short on you face two choices: A. Do nothing, B. Get a short term solution that you dont have to invest much in, to allow you to invest a large amount at a future date.

This window, I believe we are deciding to invest in a striker, CB, RW, and RB, and thats all we can afford to do. We know we have a deficiency at backup LB, and at CM. Those are going on the backburner, and we arent dropping 40 million on another CM player after paying for Gomes. In the meantime, we need someone capable should we have an injury, and sorry, Tom Davies isnt going to get us top 6. Get some short term help and maybe a young up and coming player, and then next year you can invest heavily in those positions.

Doesnt seem like rocket science but...according to some it is?
I don't believe a word of it mate.
Its not like Brands was brought in to execute a plan
As far as I can see he just signs randomers all over the place lol
