Disagree he will come good just needs to sort his head out. You'd be surprised I could see a Tottenham or Man U bidding for him at some stage

At some stage? He comes across as a melt , which was confirmed at Newcastle. That’s the physilogocal problem he has, add thatbto his kicking, decision making and he’s frequency of mistakes being greater than it was last season , it doesn’t look to good does it? He’s small for a keeper and this is going to effect his ability to come for crosses. He’s a top shot stopper and looks to be good at saving pens but that’s the end of his qualities and unfortunatley that’s not worth the money

There are so many undervalued players that could step in and help us its not even funny. We will absolutely be better next year.

oh yeah … whos these under valued players that will mysteriously make us better next season?
Are you suggesting there are not?

There are plenty of examples of signings out there that were complete bargains. Just last summer as an example:

Ndombele signed via option for Lyon for 8M this summer.
Mousa Dembele signed with Lyon for 22M. He's got 11 goals in only 15 (8) appearances.
Jonathan Bamba was a free.
Ronael Pierre Gabriel signed with Monaco for 6M.
Cabella and Khazri both signed for Saint-Etienne for 6/7M.
Atal for 3M for Nice.
Salif Sane signed for Schalke for like 7M.
Axel Witsel (yup) signed for Dortmund for 20M.
Nordi Mukiele signed for RBL for 16M.
Tyler Adams signed for RBL for nothing - not sure, but that was this Winter.
Rebic joined Frankfurt for 2M due to an option to buy.
Alassane Plea signed with BMG for 23M - he's got 11 goals.
Guendouzi signed with Arsenal for 7M.
Digne for 20M.
Bernard was a free
Maddison signed with LCFC for 25M.
Ricardo Pereira for 22M.
Johnny Evans for 4M.
Issa Diop looks okay for 25M from Toulose.
Geri has been good for Watford for 13M.
Foster cost them 3M.
Wolves got Jota for 14M.
Mitro was 20M for Fulham.

There are a few in a bit of research - none of these fees were crazy and there are a lot of good players that have worked out really well for their clubs this year. There will be plenty of opportunities for us.

I thought you meant at the club?

......this is a big window because Brands/Silva will fully know the capability of the current squad and incoming requirements. I dare say there’ll be a dependency on players leaving, but that will be as much about good housekeeping as finances.
Gonna be very interesting to see how we approach the window

....I agree. Brands has now got his feet firmly under the table, I imagine/hope there is a strategy based on team model, prioritisation and good housekeeping.

There isn’t much of this season left and we should get an idea very soon with current contracts up for Jagielka and Baines in particular.
