I hope Virginia is good. But our record of random young keepers is quite shocking.

I could see why Pope would move as a back up at a decent club though. In the hope he can push out whoever the main one is.

Doubt we’d go for him though.

Turner , simonsen, Wright, Joel ... and now Pickford ... we are shocking when it comes to keepers. Joel was the best signing from all of those listed , that tells a lot

Ismaila Sarr on one side, Samuel Chukwueze on the other. Richarlison and DCL up top. An Ndidi like destroyer next to a powerful but creative CM. Digne on one saide, absolutely anyone on the other. Mina in the middle when he learns to dominate, Holgate next to him. A keeper.

Dream I had last night.

He’s home grown, if we slap a 15mill tag on him, I bet someone would buy him. Would be a lot of money to loose, but he will never be worth what we payed and I bet we’d loose more money playing him in the long run, than cutting our losses.

We’ll never ‘slap a £15m’ price tag on him in a million years.

Nobody will want him. And we don’t need money for fees.
Someone will go in for him as a marquee signing while he remains England’s first choice. Hopefully..

I know we don’t need money for fees but he can be replaced relatively cheaply while freeing up money to be spent on wages of players who actually will do a job.
