Why is anyone surprised we couldn't complete the transfer window in style by bringing in a top centre forward. We don't really do transfer windows, do we.

...now that we've signed all of these players in his position, it'll be interesting to see if Everton withdraw Barkley's contract offer.

To be fair though @davek will have to admit that Barkley's thrown the club under the bus for his own selfish reasons. That's the only way what he's just done can be explained and that has nothing to do with him having a cob on with Koeman.
