So.....

After selling a 25 goals 24 year old international striker. Where are the goals coming from this season? We have scored 2 so far in the league , both Rooney in the rare occasions he isn't keeping schneiderlin company.

Lewen has struggled to really test the keeper (plucked from two divisions down 12 months ago) and sandro is going to take time to get going so isn't going to rip the league up this year.

We are genuinely going to struggle to score this season through lack of a lot of things. I'm not moaning, just trying to take stock of the season going forward. We need a massive team effort to get results and we aren't going to do that sitting on our 18 yard box and hoping to hit it long over and over
Your asking questions but not putting forward the names of players we should/could have realistically gone for.

@deipnosophist used to do this...
I've already had to look that up before...interesting.
But what a day it's been Bungle! Kicked off pre dawn fishing in Cornwall , then having to deal with jostling crowds of people, the Lady Di commemorations, early TDD activity, driving to Devon to see Uncke Gerald and Aunty Pauline (Barnstaple), lovely pub dinner and now just settling in to catch the last hour of the Jim White show.
Yes Bungle, I am cream crackered (and thank you for asking); but it's been a lovely lively day...

So we´re supposed to go through half a premier league season and 10 some Europe league game with one, 20 year old, striker. I remember this kinda form from the heady days of the Moyes and Kenwright love in. Thought those dark days were behind us. Apparently not. Same old, same old.

Only positive to come out of tonight's window is that Jim White has got absolutely no transfer news to break anywhere.

He must be dying inside.
