That cancels out the records you're chatting about.

It's funny how the same old people are defending this window that defended last window. Where we failed to sign our targets and went on a run of 1 win in about a dozen. Now I'm not saying well do as poorly this autumn, but the weaknesses are pretty evident and we are short of fit players for a European run. It's a mess again.

I have no idea what all the add ons are for each mate, so i can't say for sure they will do.

The same things where said about Bolasies cost last year, pretty sure he has not hit a single addon and wont do potentially due to that injury

Regardless there wasn't any addons for Lukaku and addons usually aren't hard to reach. Not sure Bolasie is relevant as you say he barely got to play.

It's nice how you mention the players you want to support your post, but completely forget about Robinho, Zola, Petit etc....

It IS to do with the board though. We can go back and forth all day but after breaking everything down its about cash. Money attracts bigger names. Money will buy you bigger names. Unfortunately it's as simple as that.

Robinho - statement signing from the current owners just as they bought the club off Shinawatra. Finished 10th that season, made it to 5th the season after having spent an absolute stack of money (there was only a top 4 back then remember)
Zola - 7 years at Chelsea before Russian money arrived. Again, a solitary statement of intent by Bates having just made a fortune from buying the Stamford Bridge freehold back.
Petit - Brilliant. Developed into what he became alongside Vieira, barely known outside of French football prior to joining Arsenal.
