I hope we get Pickford to be honest. He's 23 and has made the second highest amount of saves this season behind Tom Heaton. Sunderland would have been relegated much sooner if not for him, and I have to say he was their best player when they played us.

Also, Gylfi for obvious reasons.

I thought he had a really poor game at Goodison in all honesty. Really dodgy.

I'm on the fence about Pickford. On one hand, I am very sceptical about keepers who play for really poor sides. It's easy to look good as they are so busy and if they concede goals they tend to get a bit of a free pass because the side they're in is so poor. On the other hand Pickford has been linked with Arsenal and Man City as well as us, so maybe there's a player there. Dunno. To me he could easily be the new David Marshall (remember half this forum saying we should be buying him?)

I dunno - I thought he looked like the only one up for it. I think he would improve drastically under Koeman, well that's what I'm banking on - and let's be honest, his confidence is probably shot to bits after the season he has just had.

As a realistic impact sub, at low cost. Certainly would be better than bringing Kone on.

Lol, yeah because that's the situation we want to be in. Turning to a 34 year old who at anytime can just literally deteriorate.

Tell me, which other club in the top 6 is going to make Defoe an offer, can really see him in a spurs or Utd shirt next year

Realistic impact sub?? Behave

I'd sign Balotelli in a heart beat. You just need a manager who can handle him.

Mourinho called him unmanageable , conte wouldn't entertain him in a squad and klopp who prides himself on man management bombed him out in a heartbeat niasse style . The only one who really indulged him was Mancini and he ended up having an actually physical fight with him .

It's not like nobody has tried .

This is who I recken we will sign. Just guesswork

Schemicheal
VVD due to his friendship with Koeman
Keane
Davy klaaasen Koeman been watching him
Sign Sigurdsson to replace Barkley

Now I don't have a clue about strikers right now

Hope you're right with all of those apart from the fraud keeper.

Where would Tielemans fit in ?
Rotating with Davies ??
Take ROSS out of the team. ??
A smashing player but more urgent positions to be filled

..I don't know, Matey, I'm just posting links. Saying that, he looks a good footballer and you can't have too many of them in your squad. Anyway, Barkley hasn't signed a contract so it would be remiss if we were not looking at replacements or better options.

I agree it's nice to have options
I hope Barkley and Lukaku stay
There is a smashing player in Barkley waiting to come out.
I always thought he'd be better as the forward player in the middle 3 where he could pick the ball up in a bit of space and drive us 40/50 yards up the pitch.
But then again Koeman knows a lot more about football than I ever will so I'll bow to his superior knowledge.
Talk of Barkley to Spurs ??
Where would he fit in as a definite starter ??
Unless Eriksen goes I can't see it.
Also has he got the hard pressing game Poch likes.
I pray he will sign and Lukaku is kept for another season
Hopefully Moshiri puts his money where his mouth is and with a clear out we have a gross spend of 180 m ( 100 net ) and get 5/6 quality players for the first 11.
Rooney is nailed on as a free transfer in my opinion
