...good point, but that would also rule out Tielemans and Pickford as well as others.

I'd take balotelli

Been missing a snide since the Cahill days someone who can get under the skin of the opposition.

Chelsea have Costa. Liverpool had Suarez. It's time we got one.

But their snideness generally helped their team, not sure setting off fireworks in the bathroom will help us much..

RK has stated what he wants
We haven't got the resources to stack players up like Chelsea or City
If Tielemans was signed he would more than likely be competing with Davies for a place.
He's a smashing player but I'd say the are more urgent gaps to be filled.
I'm not too impressed by Pickford from what I've seen.
A bit too inexperienced from what I've seen
I think there are better options out there although wether they will sign for us is another matter

I could go all FIFA 17 here but I won't.
I can see a big clear out bringing in 80 million and a 100 million net spend
5/6 players for the first 11 plus Rooney.
Just my opinion but with Tony Pulis saying we are going to spend big he must know something we don't.

...I know what RK said but I wouldn't dismiss any links with younger players. If he wants the likes of Tielemans, Keane, Pickford and Henry I doubt he'll change his mind because they're not in that age bracket. I think he was saying he'd like a bit more experience in the squad.
