yeah. He did that for England prior to the euros but he was coming back from that and had a breakdown in the autumn. Not sure if it was a connected or totally different injury.

The worry about butland is going to be his kicking and if he gets another injury he may have problems with his spring.

Butland for me should have been 1st choice for the euros but as hart was established I predicted butland would take over straight after, then now, pickford 2nd choice and hart 3rd choice....

then he got injured.

Hard to compare keepers as we haven't seen butland for a while but pickford I think has the lot, perhaps needs to play with tall centre backs due to his size....but don't they all want that in front of them anyway?

Tielemans really would be a top signing. Has everything to be a top player.
In all seriousness if City, Monaco etc are interested then he won't be coming to Everton.
In all seriousness though, he is good friends with Rom who could convince him to come, Kentwright has his Belgian connections to try and convince him as well. Tielemans would be a guaranteed starter coming here and he seems the sort to want to play and I don't think he will have the same luxury at City or Monaco

That's pretty simplistic, I think they're really quite different players...

I'm not saying they haven't got different strengths and styles just it's not beyond reason that if Ross is going it might explain why we're after Tielemans.

Hopefully we are after him and will keep Ross.

Any 18yr old that goes to City , United or Chelsea wants their head examined.
Graveyards of young talent with a few exceptions.
Better of playing every week for a so called lesser team than warming the bench at an elite club.

City could and would use him but the other two no way. The Belgian press don't really care too much for Everton so doubt they'll report anything of our interest

Which is why he is going to Monaco. What kristoff said is basically that he will be linked with clubs like Chelsea,United and City, but the reality is that Monaco are the ones that are actually pushing for him.

Has anybody scored more headed goals than him this season?. where would you play him mate?. he's played practically everywhere for West ham this season.

Not sure, but he's still West Ham's top scorer I believe despite being injured.

He's at his best as a winger/inside forward imo.

Think he'd be ideal to compliment our current crop of attackers.

Koeman said himself today, he wants to bring in players who will score more goals regularly.

Antonio would fit that bill. Can easily get 10 goals per season and is versatile enough to play pretty much anywhere.

He probably will go to Monaco, but there team is going to be ripped apart in the next 2yrs. And the French league is an average league.

This is as good as it gets for Monaco for a good few years imo

I think this is pretty much the ideal step up for him, gets to play on an excelent team, at a club that is great at developing youngsters,CL football experience, likely to challenge for the title in France, will probably be a starter as Bakayoko and Fabinho are probably leaving. There is no downside in signing for them really, and in 2-3 years he can go to a "top" club as Monaco have no problem in selling their star players, if he eventually becomes one that is.

I totally agree with everything you have said mate.

I think MbAppe (sp) will go as well
As was said the vultures will pick the bones of this team in the summer and they will have to start from scratch.
They'll find it hard to attract players to a team that's been sold out from under them.
That's why it's imperative we keep Rom and ROSS
