Not been great. Good with his feet, which is why he worked at Barca but he'd have a lot more work to do here than he ever did there and he hasn't covered himself in glory for Boro

Valdes is past his best (which was never that good anyway).

We're definitely interested and the limited chatter has been that Walsh is very keen.

It'd certainly be a signal of intent. He's looked close to his best again these last few weeks, and it can't be forgotten how ace he was last year.

I see the transfer thread is still full of people intoxicated in a whole world of heavy hallucination drugs.

I have no idea who we will sign in the summer transfer window which is still actual months away.

As long as they do unnecessary stepovers that's all that we need currently.

Don't get me wrong, he was excellent last season but that and half a dozen better games this season don't make me think we should be spending the huge sums we'd be talking about.

I think with a lot of the Leicester team it was right time, right place, right situation for them all to shine. I'd need to be more convinced he could tranfer the form of last season away from them. Ok, Kante has managed to do it, but we'd be talking north of £30m I would imagine.

That would be a great signing imo. Can play wide and behind the strikers.

Does he press from the front? Does he work that hard?

Dunno, at times it seemed to me last season like he was the one player that Leicester allowed a little bit of leeway to on defensive contribution because he was their only real flair player.

He'd also occupy that "free" position from the right that Barkley has had for us.

I'm not against it, but I'm not sold on it either. Can't see it anyway though in all honesty

Hey guys, im brand new to the world of soccer in general, and I am really intrigued by the transfer market, and assuming that Lukaku is sold, we would have a lot of money available to buy. Aside from the typical Rooney/Keane rumors, what are the fit of these guys in our system and likley hood that we take a look at them?
- Zouma
- Benteke
- Zaha
- Vardy
- Payet
- sigurdsson

For me it seems like Zaha would make a very good pairing with a Rooney/Keane acquisition.

i keep thinking that, then i realise we've had sun non-stop for a week and the season finishes next bloody month! It's really crept up.
