Got my first Everton season ticket sorted today, I'm chuffed. Now let's sort out getting in some boss players.

Harry Redknapp is a big name in football though. I've heard Troy respects him massively, could be a sticking point for us.

I like your sentiment but I guarantee any agent worth his salt will know what the top earner of the club is on and want their client (if he's a top player) to try and get parity with that. Don't get me wrong, I think siguardsson is a fine player and would be a welcome addition to the club. I just don't think Everton would (or in their position currently)be prepared to fork out 25m on a transfer fee and upwards of 30m in wages over the course of a 4 year contract.

But you didn't say that, you was saying it like if we go for Sigurdsson and give him X amount and then go for Klaassen and his agent says well I want parity with Sigurdsson, that's how it came across. Agents will go into negotiations and speculate and say so and so is on this amount, my man wants the same. I know that happens. But your point about Sigurdsson and giving him a £30m contract, it sounds a lot when you put it that way but in this day and age £120K a week isn't all that but we need to start paying around those sums for a better class of player to improve cos if not then we're not going to get anywhere.

He's won everything mate and he's made his money. Unless China offered him something ridiclous which they could I still think he wants to come so I think he will be an Everton player.

yes, fair enough mate. But I don't see anybody in the world giving up 200k a year for ...(not sure when his contract expires). Money is all that matters these days...it is impossible to have too much.
I suggest after Man U he goes to China
