Thanks for proving my point lol

Fair enough though, I didn't realise it was that close actually...I wonder what their headed conversion rates are and how many chances they have had from set pieces onto heads lol

All about opinions I guess..

I'd like to see power and pace if were going to do away with the notion of silky skillful players....lets go the other way.

Only place I could see Sigurdsson would be central in a 3 picking out passes when were on the front foot...wide left I don't think hes top notch

Interesting that Iheanacho's agent namechecked us. Would love, love LOVE to get him. Cracking player that pretty much has it all and is only falling down the pecking order at City because they just signed the next superstar in Jesus. Scores goals, links up play, is a big lad.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if he was after a starting place right now in the same way that Rom left Chelsea for us - except hopefully this time we can match a young star striker's growth with our own. It makes all sorts of sense to me. My major hope for the summer if we sell Rom. Possible that City would only want to sell abroad though.

The relevant questions are whether he's efficient at scoring headed goals and whether he's getting better. He can clearly score headed goals, but there aren't that many scored each year in PL play. And it's silly to suggest that Lukaku is wasteful with headed chances.

2013/14: leader, Bony (5); Lukaku, 3 (of 15)
2014/15: leader, four with 5; Lukaku, 1 (of 10)
2015/16: leader, Giroud (7); Lukaku 4 (of 18)
2016/17: leader, Llorente (8); Lukaku 6 (of 25)

Seems entirely likely that the change in style of play from Martinez to Koeman could be a factor in Lukaku's increase in headed goals.

He's 5'10. Great potential though, would be made up if we sign him.

If Rom (our sole striker) left and was replaced with Batshuayi and Iheanacho would we be content? I think that is about the level of replacement we would see. Worth noting that if we got 100M for him that after buying those two we might have 50M left to spend.

I don't advocate this, just asking for peoples thoughts.
