Am I wrong in thinking the summer before a World Cup is the best time to buy, at least for a club in Everton's position? In theory there will be players looking for playing time at a high profile club to ensure their national team spots.

Seem to remember that Sissoko was coming to us after flopping at Spurs. I very much doubt there would be movement like that.

Think he's looked half decent when he's played (Perez not sissoko). Wish we had signed Virgil Van Dijk when he left celtic but signing players from the SPL is always a gamble! Glad we missed the bullet with Sissoko but would love to see Gylfi Siggurdson in a blue shirt

Defensive midfield. Only time I've seen him was in the U20 World Cup, think it was him, and one game for Hamburg. Will be watching tonight so will keep an eye on him.

Burnley currently on BT Sport vs Lincoln.

Not quality opposition but I really enjoy watching Keane play. Solid no frills defender. Little bit lax with keeping people offside but easily fixed.

Haha yeh that's why I'm not sure links to him and Tielemans are even genuine unless we're stockpiling young world talent which isn't the worst idea.

When you said defensive midfielder I thought that's the last position we need however you make a great point perhaps we have just sniffed out a bargain & worst case can use him as a means to make profit.
Player trading profit has been mentioned by a number of posters and this could very well fit the bill along with the other centre mid Delaney.
