Can we just sign Chris Smalling? He's like 4th choice at United now and would partner Keane very well.
His pace doesn't get exposed as much for them because they play so compact before hitting on the counter. If he were to play for us it would be a mistake due to our style although he might be able to play in a three.

Thats apparently a mis quote. Watzke said if they were looking for a central player then Dolberg would make sense, but they are looking for a wide player.
