It's always this time of the season the clappers come out in force. The people who've seen everton win the lot but get really arsey when us younger ones get frustrated that we've seen nothing but abject failure in 20+ years.
I want to see us improve but it's extremely frustrating when we do improve, but take 2 (probably more like 22) steps back by selling our whole goal threat, and worse still don't bother reinvesting the money on a replacement.
Mate I'm 32, I was 10 when we last won anything, I spent a decade of being taunted by RS uncles telling me every season that we were going down that year. I sobbed when the 1-2 punch combo of Barmby missing a pen and Dion Dublin equalising in 98 put us a Bolton goal away from going down. I got so fed up watching deadline day when we spent several windows without so much as a cheeky loan.
I'm not saying don't be frustrated, it's natural but for the love of god man, don't come out saying we haven't bothered investing in a replacement when not one of us has a scooby what the hell is going on behind the scenes, for all we know we have been working on a replacement before, during and now after Rom has gone but haven't found a viable target due to unavailability, price, wage demands or health
