I think I read that Leicester would even be willing to consider loan with view to buy for him, so if there is any jittery nerves at GP relating to the size of the Sigurdsson fee, then Slimani looks to be an option that both board and manager might see as viable.

It's looking obvious from the links we have had that we are interested in a certain type of forward.
With that in mind Zat, who would you go for? I'm not saying the players you've listed above are world-beaters but give me some other options mate. I only really watch Everton.

Dolberg looks a great prospect, don't think anyone who's watched him would deny that, but isn't what you'd call a physically strong focal point-type target man, which is what Koeman appears to be looking for.

Also Dolberg, reading between the lines, is lined up to go to Monaco if they sell Mbappe.

Agree with your mate. That's why Leicester signed the kid from Citch as replacement. They have aboout 7 first team forward/striker.

Benteke wouldn't be my choice, but his stats are miles ahead of everyone else as far as aerial stuff is concerned and the role he would be required to fill here probably wouldn't necessarily mean him running around loads. As a focal point, he could probably stay within the width of the 18 yard box most of the time.

Kalinic - I'll have to take your word for that. Milan have been linked with him all summer as well as their 2nd choice to Belotti. Can't say I've watched much of him in Italy, or if I have, I haven't really paid any attention to him.

Jorgensen - I like him. There's something about him which I think would transfer well over here. Really deft touch for such a big guy, and equally happy running into channels. He's not on Giroud's level, but if we got closer to the end of the window and we'd missed out on other targets, I wouldn't mind us taking a chance on him.

There you go, 2nd choice and budget option if they don't get Belotti. I'm sure he'll be ace with fellow superstar Borini...

Jorgensen would be really hard to watch for a season....really, really hard to accept him as an Everton forward.

We wont get 4th...the squad is nowhere near good enough. Signing Dolberg would enable us to have a potential superstar on our hands. Look at the impact a younger less experienced Davies made...Dolberg would be a coup.

Dolberg is the one...the time is now to sign him, if he goes to Monaco it's another Tielemans.

I cant believe we signed Klaassen when Tielemans could have been signed last summer or in Jan even.

Were never getting top 4 with Kalinic so why even waste the money on him...go for someone whose potentially world class but who can play now...not someone whose average at best and at worst who can flop.


If not dolberg then spend the money and get Belotti.
