Not sure seri would be sigurdson backup option...more like for like McCarty replacement...he is an energetic midfield player with a great eye for a pass. Sigurdson is more of an attacking player that plays much higher of the pitch...of course the press is putting 2 and 2 together and clearly don't buy the ambition showed by Everton so far.
