if we match Southampton's vaulation we have a chance, the guy loves Koeman and constantly talks about all he did for his career. Whether working with Koeman is a bigger pull than CL football (for a year at least) who knows.

To be fair here he is a footballer not a horse. They aren't going to put him down going because he has got a leg injury.

and that's a problem we'll always have, even if we had CL the likes of City, Chelsea and United will blow us away with what they can offer in wages. VVD seems like a fairly level headed fella, if CL was all he was after he could have stayed at Celtic and played every year. I think there's more to him. Doesn't mean we'll sign him but i don't think he'll sign for team offering the most money.
