Fair point but last season we had first team striker options of lukaku, kone and valencia..
Realistically we could have rom, Giroud and Rooney this season.
That's a massive boost in quality and experience, add in that we've basically swapped del for Sandro
Ah, don't fall into the same trap I did mate - Sandro is very much a centre forward - he can play on wing, but he's not a natural wide man. This was made very clear to me by those who had done loads more research than me :)

So, in this hypothetical situation, we would have Rooney, Giroud, Lukaku, Sandro and DCL all playing for one spot. I'm all for having options, but that's a lot of expensive strikers to have sitting about.

Sounds good that and who would have ever believed we would be able to say it

Has something changed re Lukaku. I am seeing many posts suggesting he will now be staying?

Although Sandro is primarily a centre forward I believe we'll have him playing on the left and drifting in with someone of Giroud's ilk in the centre.

We will have Giroud, Sandro & Rooney DCL to choose from, Roms gone!

Looking like Rooney to us, Sigurdsson to Spurs and Giroud either stopping at Arsenal or off to some other CL club outside England.

I'd be surprised if that wasn't the case.

Giroud has already said he doesn't want to leave and Wenger said he doesn't want him to go, so it's pretty open and shut.
