Chambers is nowhere near Keane's quality imo.
He's been brilliant for Middlesbrough, especially against City...working with Karanka seems to have done wonders for his positional play.
Keane's very good, but he's two years older than Chambers, and was deemed a £2m player and ended up in the Championship at the same age; Chambers was class in his first few Arsenal games, especially against Besiktas. Then Wenger started [Poor language removed] about with him in midfield and just generally killing any chance of him fulfilling his potential ala Walcott, Jeffers, Oxlaide-Chamberlain, Ramsey ect...
He can play rightback, which gives another dimension when playing right of a back three, something that orthodox central defenders struggle with if they get pulled out too wide, so he'd be able to fill number of roles within various systems.
Wherever he ends up, I think he'll be on his way to the World Cup next summer
