Summer Transfer Window 2017

It's not about self perception, its about what he does.

Is he a player that leads the line?

Is he a player that plays the advanced MF role and is tasked with being a false nine as many are in the game?

How can the answer to either be yes? If he doesn't do either he isn't an attacker. He likes to get forward and prefers it at that end of the pitch. That's all he's saying there.

Hes a player that's played numerous times just behind the striker, mate. He's an attacking player. That's who he describes himself as and who we all know he is, apart from you.

Is right mate, even if we are loaded.
I read that we had a bid for Balde of Lazio accepted but the player turned us down.
Maybe the tour of Milan was a smokescreen for bids on other players in the Italian league and to secure the sale of Gerri?
Who knows?
I read the same, it's a shame because Balde looks a proper player. Who knows what's going on! It's a nice change though all this speculation so early in the window.

Early days. CL clubs can see a bargain if things go the distance in this window.

I see him at United eventually.

Not in the role you're advocating while Mourinho is there, at the least.

Ross is boss. I hope he stays because with the signings we're looking to make he'd have so much more options around him and that'd be brilliant.

But it won't be the end of the world if he leaves.

I think Balde (Keita) was the preferred target, and our second option was Niang. Both similar (though Keita is undoubtedly better at this point).

Gerri replacements, I'm guessing.
