Everton are closing in on two key signings, as Ronald Koeman looks to make early moves in this transfer window.

We understand they're in advanced talks with Ajax over captain Davy Klassen - a creative attacking midfielder - but a fee has yet to be agreed.

Klassen's arrival would make Ross Barkley's departure from Goodison more likely. He's refused to sign a new contract, and Koeman has said publically he would actively seek a replacement.

Everton are also close to a deal for Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez.

Middlesborough have entered the frame to sign Aiden Mcgeady from Everton
